Portable Sculpture

This started as a personal project where I was trying to figure out how to make affordable, easy to move large-scale work. I came up with the idea of using 2” styrofoam sheets designed for home insulation. They were easy to cut out and sculpt and very portable.

While they look like sturdier objects, each one only weighs a few pounds. That allowed me to easily move the pieces around the city and place them in a variety of different locations.
